Below is the Living room at the beginning of the job. As you can see there is plaster missing and the walls are in a poor state. The walls are prepared for plastering by applying pva and creating a key to the old painted surface to ensure the plaster adheres properly.

Here you can see that the walls and ceiling have been plastered and the skirting has been installed.

Here a miscoat is applied. A miscoat is half matt emulsion and half water.

Below is the finished product. The coving has been installed, the ceiling and walls painted and skirting glossed. The customer went for a good quality paint and chose a nice colour to help make the room feel light and spacious.
